From All Star II
The Openness Committee was formed at the November 2005 Chairs meeting to suggest ways that the past chairs group cam make its activities more open to Shoalers.
Members: Bonnie Sylvester, Cathy Cordes, Margy Levine Young, and others
Mission: To create more transaprency around the governance of Allstar II
- To devise an Open Policy Statement To determine the best means of informing conferees of this Policy
- Place an Openness Statement on the All Star II Website. Perhaps a few paragraphs should accompany the statement to provide meaning and rationale. Make an Island Presentation during Expert's Night or a Talk of the Rocks. Expert's Night permits All Star II Staff to attend. Advertise this talk in the Dockside Post as well as the Starboard and in the Announcements.
